One of eight in the ABC’s fleet of fully digital Outside Broadcast Vans, this spacious, air conditioned semi-trailer has an extendable side with four separate work areas (audio, production control, videotape and vision control/engineering), and offers up to 16 cameras and a 16:9 or 4:3 signal.

Audio

Control room and system to fully support up to 24 tracks of multi-track recording with dedicated wiring and rack space for 3 Tascam DA88 style recorders. Shelf space and wiring is set-up for the convenient installation and operation of itinerant outboard equipment.

Desk

Euphonix System 5 multi-format digital sound desk capable of controlling up to 70 inputs – each fully configurable in respect of EQ, dynamics and pre-post fade routing. Offers a high-speed digital mixing system including a control surface, digital mixer core, MADI to analogue and digital interfaces.

Ancillary Equipment

CD player, mini-disc recorder/player and comprehensive, TC Electronic (Denmark) reverberator/acoustic processors and 96K Finalizer system, all operating in the digital domain.
