Mick and Jack from Madder Lake strike the traditional pose with The Coodabeen Champions Live from Studio 301

Make every Sunday evening special with The Coodabeen Champions, on air across the nation between 6.30pm and 9pm.
You can also listen to The Coodabeens streaming LIVE on line, Sunday nights from 6:30pm Eastern Australia Time. Just click on the "Listen Live" links on the left of the page.

It's a program that has been compared to "four blokes chatting over a drink in the pub about life" There's topical talkback, (Coodabeen style) magic moments, Greg will entertain you with one of his own songs, (such as his version of Advance Australia Fair - see below) and there will be chat about contemporary music. Always fun, spontaneous - come along for the ride - you never know what you'll hear next. Join in on the talkback lines too!

MADDER LAKE!

The Coodabeens were excited to be joined by Mick Fettes and Jac Kreemers from the seminal 70's Prog Rock band, Madder Lake in the studio on Sunday night.

And the boys from the band named after a Derwent pencil fitted right in talking prog rock and provided a highlight full studio sing along of "Nah-nah na-na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na-na nah-nah-nah.

Mick, Jac and their original band mates have reformed the band that was seen by many as the highlight of Sunbury '71. They will play the Queenscliff Music Festival in late November.
