dig Podcasts
dig offers a variety of music podcasts for you to download and enjoy.
This will allow you to hear or watch some of our stories and music on your mp3 player or computer. Using free downloadable software you can subscribe to our podcasts (for no cost) and have your computer download the audio or video at any time; perhaps overnight when you're not using it.

FAQs
I'm using iTunes and I can't find dig. How do I Subscribe?
Go to Menu > "Advanced" > "Subscribe to Podcast" and then copy this URL "http://abc.net.au/dig/podcast/dig_rss.xml" and hit "OK".
What equipment do I need?
You need a computer and an internet connection (the faster the better), and to listen to the audio when you're away from your computer, any type of portable device - an mp3 player or mobile phone - capable of playing or converting mp3 files. You may also need to download some free software which automatically downloads new audio, if your device doesn't have that feature.
You can also subscribe using a web-based "feed reader" such as My Yahoo or Google Reader. These work in a similar way to the podcast software but are online rather than application-based and you need to have an account - they're usually free and easy to set-up but you will need an email address.
Where can I get the software?
iPodder is one of the most popular pieces of software. It runs on both Windows and Mac.
iPodderx runs on Mac OSX only.
Doppler runs on Windows only.
iTunes runs on both Windows and MacOSX
Where can I get more information?
Wikipedia is a good online reference with lots of links to software for listening.
Why are you only podcasting small amounts of your show?
We play a lot of music which is commercially released, which means we don't have the rights to offer it for download. The music you hear in our downloads is made available by the generosity of the musicians.
