Tracey Bowden
Tracy Bowden started her overseas posting in Washington in March 2006.
She joined the ABC in 2000, reporting for the 7.30 Report.
In 2005, after following the case from its early stages, Tracy travelled to Bali to cover the verdict in the Schapelle Corby drug trial.
She has spent more than 20 years in TV current affairs, covering both domestic and international issues for commercial television and the ABC.
In 2004 Tracy won a United Nations Media Peace Prize.
Tracy reported on the aftermath of the Tiananmen Square massacre for the Nine Network in 1989, during a seven-year stint at Willesee/A Current Affair.
In 1982 Tracy covered the trial of Lindy and Michael Chamberlain in Darwin for the Macquarie Radio Network.
She started her career in radio, working for Radio 2GB in Sydney.

In the Walkley Awards for excellence in journalism, announced November 27, China Correspondent Stephen McDonell won the Best Coverage of the Asia-Pacific Region category with a package of stories covering the Sichuan earthquake, the Three Gorges Dam, China Internet and the violent crackdown by China on Tibetan students protesting in Beijing.
In the UN Media Peace Awards announced on Friday October 24, Middle East correspondent Matt Brown won the TV Current Affairs category for "Syria - Iraqi Refugees" and Eric Campbell received a Special commendation for his story from Armenia, "Ghosts of the Past" .
