Cook on fire until meat and potatoes are cooked threw

Is a magpie goose a female magpie or a type of goose?
Can we eat magpies? Do they taste nice to cook?

Moderator: The Magpie Goose is an endangered species that was found in temperate wetlands along Australian coastal areas. It is now found mainly around Cape York and the Top End. It is a native geese, not a Magpie and derives its name from its black and white feathers. Traditional land owners are allowed to hunt and eat Magpie Geese as long as they have a permit. I have been informed that they are delicious.
Kind Regards,
