ABC Graduate Technologist Program 2009
The ABC's Technology & Distribution Division is offering a number of positions in its Graduate Technologist program. If you are a recent graduate, or about to be a graduate in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or similar, opportunities are now available for you to get further training in a broadcast environment. Salary circa $50K per annum.
The 18 month program includes rotation through various technical departments in our ABC Ultimo Centre in Sydney and one placement in another state capital.
You will learn through classroom as well as on the job training and mentoring about technical maintenance, project management and support of TV and radio broadcast systems, operations and maintenance of TV and radio master control. You will also learn about the history of the broadcasting industry and the impact of technology on the future of electronic media.
On the successful completion of the Graduate Program, you will be a candidate for relevant permanent positions within the ABC.
