New Bradman museum for Adelaide

The Bradman Collection Museum now has a permanent home at Adelaide Oval.
The items have been relocated from the State Library in Adelaide and supplemented by South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) memorabilia.
SACA historian Bernard Whimpress says the museum will interest more than just cricket buffs.
"Bradman's sort of heroic status really is part of the national imagination. I think there's something there to enjoy all parts really. Different people draw different experiences from particular items," he said.
"The main interactive [exhibit] is sort of a tank stand and a stump and a golf ball. That was a core part of his own development as a player so that's there for people to try out."
Bradman developed his legendary skills, in part, by practising hitting a ball with a narrow cricket stump rather than a bat.
