Rudd's family history given to National Library

The family history of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has been handed over to the National Library in Canberra.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints compiled the history and has done the same for former prime ministers as well as American presidents.
Church elder Terry Vinson says the history dates back to the late 1700s.
"The Prime Minister has an interesting mixture of convict ancestors and free settlers," he said.
"There are seven convict ancestors, I believe from my reading of the history, and a number of free settlers and he's quite proud of the convict heritage."
