Crown Princess to attend gala dinner in Melbourne

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited the Melbourne offices of the allanah and Madeline Foundation.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was in Melbourne today to visit the offices of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.

She is the international patron of the foundation, set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac who were killed in the shootings at Port Arthur.

Tonight she and her husband Crown Prince Frederik will attend a gala dinner at the National Gallery of Victoria for the foundation and will be joined by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Premier John Brumby.
