Teens charged over taxi driver assault

Two teenagers have been charged over an attack on a taxi driver at Wyndham Vale in Melbourne's west on Friday morning.

The 43-year-old driver was found unconscious near a service station about 4:30am (AEST).

He had suffered facial injuries.

The 18-year-old Werribee teenagers have been charged with several offences including affray, intentionally causing injury, assault by kicking and unlawful assault.

They will face court in November.
