Posted August 30, 2008 07:34:00

Indian doctors treating the Dalai Lama say they do not believe his condition is serious.

The Tibetan spiritual leader was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, suffering from what was described as abdominal pain.

His office says he has had to cancel two overseas trips, due to fatigue from a recent visit to France.
