State of Origin returns to Melbourne in '09

The opening match of the 2009 rugby league State of Origin series between Queensland and New South Wales will be played at Docklands in Melbourne.

The second game will be in Sydney with the third match played in Brisbane.

The teams last played an Origin game in Melbourne in 2006.

Queensland is looking to win its fourth series in a row.
