Queensland police are interviewing a man in his 30s over the suspicious death of his partner in their Brisbane home this morning.

A crime scene has been set up in Barellan Street at Stafford, where a woman's body was found just after 3.30am AEST.

Detective acting inspector Graham Clark says at this stage no charges have been laid.

"The male person that's helping us with our enquiries called the ambulance," he said.

"We can't say too much about it at the moment ... we don't know too much."

Police say the man and woman were in a relationship.
