Still from the Australian drama, Underbelly

Victorian ban overturned: Vince Colosimo in a scene from Underbelly (Channel 9)

A Supreme Court judge has granted Channel Nine permission to broadcast the first five episodes of drama series Underbelly in Victoria.

The 13-part series had been banned in the state until the conclusion of the trial of Evangelos Goussis, who was convicted of the murder of underworld figure Lewis Moran.

Today's ruling allows the network to screen edited versions of the episodes.
