Two killed on NSW roads

Posted October 4, 2008 15:27:00

Police say two people have been killed on the first day of the October long weekend traffic operation in New South Wales.

A motorcyclist was killed yesterday morning when he crashed into a semi-trailer in the Blue Mountains.

A 69 year-old man was killed yesterday afternoon in a car crash at Boorowa in the state's south.

The Traffic Services Commander, Chief Superintendent John Hartley, has again appealed to motorists to take care on the roads over the weekend.
