Posted October 6, 2008 11:00:00

A Launceston man has pleaded not guilty to unlawfully destroying property by crashing a car into an electricity substation.

Dwayne David John Triffett also denied one count of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Aurora Energy estimates the damage to the substation earlier this year to be more than $150,000.
