Wallabies focussed on fitness ahead of tour

Posted October 7, 2008 13:29:00

The Wallabies will be put through their paces at a Sydney camp this week, as they continue preparations for their spring tour.

The team faces the All Blacks in the fourth Bledisloe Cup Test in Hong Kong at the start of next month and will then play five games in Europe.

Wallabies coach Robbie Deans says the camp is a good opportunity to improve the team's fitness.

"Possibly a little bit more in game content but not a lot. The priority is still very much conditioning because we've got a block of opportunity to do that," he said.
