Coach Mick Malthouse has announced a 25-man Australian squad for this month's International Rules series against Ireland.
Three players from premier Hawthorn were chosen - Campbell Brown, Michael Osborne and Brad Sewell - along with Max Rooke from runner-up Geelong.
North Melbourne has the highest representation with Matt Campbell, Michael Firrito, Brent Harvey, Drew Petrie and Daniel Wells all selected.
Australia will be defending the Cormac McAnallen trophy, won in Ireland in 2006.
The series was not played last year because of the violence which marred the 2006 encounters.
Malthouse says his team features the next generation of Australian players.
"We have gone for youth, speed, skill and agility," he said in a statement.
"The squad consists of players who have had outstanding seasons with their clubs, 23 of the 25 have finished in the top 10 of their club best and fairest.
"They all deserve the opportunity to play for their country and win for their country."
The squad will begin preparations in Melbourne next week for a two Test series, with the first match to be played at Subiaco Oval in Perth on Friday, October 24.
The second Test will be at the MCG the following Friday.
