Mariners re-sign Vukovic, Bojic

Posted October 9, 2008 12:14:00

The Central Coast Mariners have confirmed the re-signing of youth internationals Danny Vukovic and Pedj Bojic.

Goalkeeper Vukovic has committed to the club for three more seasons while Bojic has signed on for another two.

Vukovic was the only member of the Australian U-23s to play in each match of the historic Olympic qualification campaign, and is excited by the prospect of playing in the Mariners' first ever tilt at the Asian Champions League next season.

"I'm delighted to have now extended my stay at the club - we have a tremendous group of players, coaches and administration here at the Mariners and it's exciting to know that I'll be apart of this culture for a long time to come," he said in a statement.

Bojic made his first appearance for the Mariners in August after spending several seasons at English Football League 1 side Northampton Town.

He made eight competitive starts last season.
