Harvey turns down Saints to coach Blues

Posted October 10, 2008 19:25:00

St Kilda champion Robert Harvey turned down a full-time coaching position at the Saints to join Carlton as an assistant coach.

The 383-game veteran, who played his last AFL game in the Saints' preliminary final loss to Hawthorn, will become a development coach for the Blues.

The dual Brownlow medallist will work with Carlton's young emerging players.
