Wilderness program suspended

Posted October 15, 2008 20:13:00

The Tasmanian Government has suspended its Wilderness Program because of insurance concerns.

The course takes groups on recreational journeys to remote parts of the state.

But the government has ordered the program be halted while it finalises better coverage for the participants.

It says anyone booked to take part in a wilderness program this year will be given a free spot when the program resumes.
