Sustainable dance club
This week we're taking to the dance floor to investigate a trend that could allow night-clubbers to dance the night away while helping the environment.
Club Watt (as in a watt of energy) is a new hip club in the city of Rotterdam that uses a specially designed dance floor to harvest the energy generated by dancers and transform it into electricity to power a light show in and around the dance floor.
Watt is in part the creation of the Sustainable Dance Club, a company formed by a group of Dutch ecological inventors, engineers and investors.
