Paul Stiles: the market as God

Paul Stiles has worked for the US Navy, the National Security Agency, and in the bear pit, trading bonds at Merrill Lynch. Then, still only in his 40s, he walked away from it all to live on a Spanish island. His fascination now is with idea of the market— not just the stock market, the global market, or the free market, but the Market with a capital 'M', a huge, but unacknowledged force in our lives.
