Navy families

Australian Navy families are looking forward to an unexpected Christmas present, announced yesterday.

There will be a two month shutdown of many operations, over December and January, as part of an attempt by the Navy to be more family-friendly.

We discuss the impact this might have on those families, and why the move was deemed necessary.
