FIRE WEATHER WARNING Issued at 4:00 pm WDT on Thursday, 8 January 2009 For the Inland sub-district of the Central West.
Very hot conditions with fresh and southerly winds are expected to cause an EXTREME fire danger tomorrow [Friday].
FESA advises: All residents should take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of life and property. No fires including solid fuel barbecues may be lit in the open during the warning period. Local authorities should consider harvest and vehicle movement bans for the period of the warning. To report fires, dial triple zero.

Synoptic situation Strong S'ly winds are expected over the central west and lower west coasts of WA Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon.
Strong Wind Warning Carnarvon to Kalbarri Winds shifting S/SW'ly and increasing to 20/30 knots during Friday afternoon. Seas to 2.0m. Swell to 2m
Strong Wind Warning Kalbarri to Cape Naturaliste S/SW'ly winds 20/30 knots Thursday afternoon and evening, easing below 25 knots around Thursday midnight. Winds again shifting S/SW'ly and increasing to 20/30 knots Friday afternoon. Seas to 2.0m. Swell to 2m.
The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm WDT Thursday.
Please be aware Wind gusts can be a further 40 percent stronger than the averages given here, and maximum waves may be up to twice the height.
