Monica Attard Each Sunday at 9.05pm Monica Attard talks to people in the news about the news. Previous guests have included the founder of the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital Dr Catherine Hamlin, Dr Alan Trounson, Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali, John Elliott, Cardinal George Pell, Rove McManus, Jose Ramos Horta, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Justice Ian Callinan.

Monica Attard began Sunday Profile in 2002. A national interview program, Sunday Profile focuses on key issues in Australia, providing listeners with detailed analysis of stories, background information and key interviews with major players.

Monica has 25 years of experience in journalism and broadcasting. She was the ABC's Russia correspondent, a presenter of the national radio current affairs programs PM and The World Today. Most recently she was the host of Media Watch on ABC TV.

Monica has won 5 Walkley Awards, including two for Best Broadcast Interviewing, resulting from her work on Sunday Profile.
