Congratulations to the five lucky listeners who went to the opening night of Pig Iron People. The Play is described as a timely satire infused with profound tolerance for the foibles of humanity.

Don't DIS my ABILITY... 3 December- International Day of People with a Disability
NSW celebrates this day with a month-long campaign where over 150 events are taking place across the state.
This campaign challenges preconceptions of disability and creates an environment that encourages participation in careers, recreation and social activities. Check the supported events panel on the right hand side of this page for links to a full program of events.

Andrew Olle Media Lecture
702 ABC Sydney hosted the 13th annual Andrew Olle Media Lecture on Friday 17 October. Ray Martin was guest speaker and challenged commercial media to improve their news and current affairs standards.

Sculpture by the Sea
We couldn't have asked Sydney to put on a better show for the WEEKENDS live broadcast last Sunday. The crowds turned out in force, the smell of sausages wafted through the air, the amazing sculptures glistened in the sun and everyone at Tamarama Beach was treated to Simon Marnie and friends, with sand castle competitions, great live music and cooking demonstrations from ...
