Meet The Team
Justin Murphy
Justin grew up in Canberra, in a family steeped in journalism. However, he opted for science, working for the CSIRO for twenty years as a geographer on land degradation.
Television was clearly going to be important in getting environmental messages across, so Justin joined the ABC’s Quantum in 1985.
Four years on Channel 9’s Sunday followed, and in 1991 he re-joined the ABC’s The 7.30pm Report.
He hosted The Arts Show for two years and before Collectors, was a presenter on Rewind.
In Collectors he’ll be trawling auction houses across Australia for treasures to test the knowledge of the panel.
