An auctioneer would have been hard pressed to give something like this away, but now they have become very collectable.

The black lady lamp is retro and from the 1960s and Australian made.

Australian designer Barsony made black lady lamps from the 1950s.

The black lady lamp sells for $160.00 at auction.
