This week’s Show and Tell was sent in by Patricia from Bundaberg, Queensland. It’s a novelty ashtray often known as ‘Grotesque’. It’s part of a set, but there is some conjecture about whether a set contained 4 or 5 ashtrays. They were made in Germany for the British market around the late 1920s early 1930s and later in Japan. Its value is between $80 and $100.
