Kevin sees Holden cars as affordable and easy to work on. Kevin’s Dad started with a Holden body car in 1927 and Kevin grew up with every Holden model to the 1963 EH. Now, Kevin has a good collection of his own Holden cars. One of these is a pre-FJ known as a 48/215, built in 1948. Kevin bought the 48/215 overseas and it was not in good condition at the time, unrecognisable from what it looks like today. Kevin tries to restore the cars to the original showroom condition.

In 1948 this model sold for $1,300. It was the car of the time and a prized piece in this collection.
