Under the hammer this week is a World War I naval sextant made by Brandise and Company in Brooklyn for the U.S. Navy.
The item is in good working condition and comes boxed with all the original components.
As antique nautical instruments are proving very popular collectables, Justin is expecting some competitive bidding.

The final hammer price of $1400 surprised the panel this week, but of course Gordon wasn’t too upset.
