NAISDA Dreaming Part 2

NAISDA Dreaming follows a group of young Indigenous dance students on an inspiring journey. Their classroom is moved from rehearsal rooms at NAISDA Dance College, near Sydney, to the bush and red earth of a remote homeland in Arnhem Land.
To learn the local dance they need to experience traditional Yolngu culture first hand. Some of them are originally from remote communities and are keen to return to the bush, while others have never been camping, let alone fishing or hunting before. Cut off from family, phones, the internet and tv, how will they handle adjusting to life in the bush, where the nearest shop is a plane ride away? There is great dancing and plenty of laughs along the way – but also some fascinating insights from this remarkable group of young dancers and their Yolngu tutors.
