Lina Andonovska developed a passion for music at a young age, after being inspired by her musical mother. In 2001 she received a full music scholarship to study at Perth Modern High School. Upon completing year 12 she auditioned successfully for the Canberra School of Music.

Lina is currently completing her Honours year at the Australian National University. During her studies she has performed widely in a range of solo, chamber and orchestral performances. She has been the recipient of the Margaret Domann Flute Scholarship, Wesley Music Scholarship and most recently the Karmel Honours Scholarship. Following her second year of study, Lina was awarded a grant from the Friends of the School of Music to pursue studies with internationally renowned flautists in Europe.

In 2007 Lina was a finalist in the National Solo Flute and Solo Piccolo competitions, semi-finalist in the Gisborne Music Competition and winner of the Friends of the ANU School of Music Chamber Music Competition. She has performed live on Radio New Zealand, Artsound FM and ABC 666. Also in 2007, Lina was the recipient of an ArtsACT grant which will enable her to attend summer schools and auditions in 2008.

Lina has appeared with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, ANU Symphony Orchestra, Virtuosi Ensemble, gained casual status with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and participated in National Music Camp in 2008.
