morning.

Strong Wind Warning
Wilsons Promontory to 60nm east of Gabo Island
Northerly winds 10 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to 30 knots tonight, mainly
offshore and in the east. Seas rising 2 to 3 metres. East to northeasterly swell
1 to 1.5 metres. Westerly swell around 1 metre.

The next warning will be issued by 10.30 pm EDST Sunday

Gale Warning
SA/Vic Border to Cape Otway
North to northwesterly wind 20 to 30 knots, reaching 35 knots offshore, shifting
west to southwesterly at 20 to 30 knots from the west overnight. Seas 2 to 4
metres. Southwesterly swell 3 to 4 metres.

The next warning will be issued by 10.30 pm EDST Sunday.

Patchy cloud is forming over VIC as a weak trough approaches from the west but is bringing no rain due to very dry northerly winds. These northerlies are also warm and gusty and have led to the warmest day and highest fire risk day since March in most areas.

Southwesterly to 1 metre.<p>Monday: Winds: Northerly 20/30 knots, shifting west to southwesterly at 20/30 knots from the west during the morning and early afternoon, before easing to 15/25 knots at night.  Sea: Up to 4.0 m  Swell: Up to 2.0 m
Gippsland Lakes Variable winds 5/10 knots at first then northwesterly winds developing again and freshening to 15/20 knots overnight before shifting west to southwesterly at 20/25 knots in the morning. Winds easing to 15/20 knots later. Isolated showers developing.    
Melbourne Bays Tonight and Monday North to northwesterly winds of 20/30 knots, shifting west to southwesterly at 20/25 knots during the early morning. Southwesterly wind then easing to 10/15 knots Monday night.  Sea: Up to 2.0 m

Western Bass Strait Sunday: Winds: North to northwesterly 20/30 knots, reaching 35 knots offshore at times, shifting westerly at 20/30 knots in the west tonight.<p>Monday: Winds: West to southwesterly 20/30 knots decreasing to 10/20 knots during the afternoon and to 10/15 knots at night.  Sea: Up to 4.0 m  Swell: Up to 5.0 m
